Rachelle Denae is a skilled vocalist and guitarist. She currently performs original selects and hymns.

Her music has been influced by the likes of Josh Garrels and other soulful musicians who don’t fit neatly into a single genre. She gracefully traipses along the lines between Folk, Folk Rock, Country and Gospel music.

I’m from the corn fields of Indiana. I moved to Memphis in July ‘07 and then to Jonesboro, Sep. ‘07. I love the South, but I miss my family. Every wayfaring stranger does at some point, huh. I first learned to play the guitar when I was 16 in my uncle’s Bluegrass band. My Uncle Clyde loaned me his “priceless” Samick and told me, “Here, learn C-D-G and don’t come back ’till ya do.” Well, I learned them and discovered a new voice while I was at it. Ha! Now, I don’t want to say much more, cuz the rest is up for your interpretation.
